Hello & welcome! I’m Cathy Armstrong, MS, LPC-S, RN. I bring a multidisciplinary, multicultural, integrative and holistic approach to counselor development. I am a lifelong learner and incorporate current, research-informed approaches including trauma-informed somatic therapies, EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, interpersonal neurobiology, ketamine integration and clinical hypnosis. I work with motivated counselors who want to achieve excellence as mental health clinicians. My role is to help you strengthen critical-thinking skills, protect your license and provide exceptional care for your clients.
My goal is to help you develop excellent clinical judgment and learn how to build an ethical private practice. I work best with supervisees who are willing to study, accept feedback, think independently and take responsibility for becoming excellent clinicians.
