I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with office in Smithtown, Forest Hills & Murray Hill. I specialize in the neuropsychological assessment of individuals with special needs. My clientele includes children, adolescents & adults with genetic disorders, epilepsy, intellectual disabilities, autism, concussion and traumatic brain injury, sex chromosome differences, dementia and acquired brain disorders. I am a neuropsychologist providing neuropsych assessments to preschoolers through young adults with learning and psychiatric issues. Dr. Lauren Tobing-Puente designed her private practice, renamed Connected Growth & Wellbeing (CGW), to carry forth her mission of supporting individuals’ development, including clients as young as toddlers through adulthood, and their families. We have grown since 2006 to meet the needs of the neurodivergent community, now as a dynamic group of licensed psychologists, postdoctoral psychologist, and mental health clinicians. Mrs. Sandoval is a seasoned case manager, clinician and psychotherapist who has direct familiarity with many settings and agencies in which psychiatric patients are treated. She has worked extensively in residential facilities as a counselor and served as clinical director of the Community Residence Program of Transitional Services for New York, Inc.
