My practice solely focuses on neuropsychological assessments, as such I am able to conduct evaluations in a timely manner. Many families come to me when their child is struggling academically, socially, and/or presents with attentional difficulties. A neuropsychological evaluation can help determine your child's strengths and weaknesses and I will collaborate with you as parents and your child's teachers to develop a comprehensive learning plan with tailorized recommendations.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and New Jersey. I am an authorized practitioner through PSYPACT, which allows me to practice telepsychology in 39 states. My office is in Midtown Manhattan, where I also provide psychotherapy for adolescents and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT. I also perform psychological evaluations and specialize in education and forensic evaluations.

I have over fifteen years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families; as well as psycho-educational testing and assessments; to children, adolescents, and adults of all age ranges. I also provide consultation to schools and educational facilities on learning and developmental issues.

Psychological evaluations (also referred to as ‘testing’ or ‘assessment’) can help children, adolescents, and adults better understand their behavior, functioning, cognition, mood, and personality. Evaluations are likely warranted in the presence of suspected ADHD; difficulties with attention, concentration, and/or hyperactivity; persistent academic difficulties (e.g., reading, writing, math); social, behavioral, and/or emotional difficulties; inability to engage in real-life skills (e.g., grooming, getting dressed, etc.); and/or psychological symptoms that have not responded to treatment (e.g., paranoia, severe anxiety, etc.).

Neuropsychological Consulting of New York provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation and treatment services for individuals ages 16+. Our evaluation services can assist with diagnostic issues, clarify and confirm disability and/or cognitive impairment, and provide a general understanding of functional ability and degree of deficit. We work with individuals, health care providers, attorneys, corporations, and other professionals. As a lifespan neuropsychologist I work with patients ages 5 years up through 85+ who have developmental, neurologic, and psychiatric conditions affecting their cognitive functioning (i.e., attention, learning/memory, etc.), behavior, and/or mood. I am a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the completion of psychological, psycho-educational, and neuropsychological evaluations to better understand an individual's strengths/challenges and provide recommendations to allow for future success. I am a board certified clinical neuropsychologist. My specialty is clinical & forensic neuropsychological evaluation across the lifespan. Assessment involves an in-depth understanding of the effects of neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions on brain functioning. The goal is to see you, not the disorder, & to understand how the condition affects you, determine intervention & treatment needs, & enhance your quality of life. Please note, this is an assessment service. I am not providing therapy though I will make appropriate & targeted recommendations based on the findings so that targeted treatment occurs.

Dr. Campbell is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in psychological and forensic assessment, crisis intervention, psychotherapy and supervision. She has worked and trained in various inpatient, outpatient, community and correctional settings, and with many different populations, including adolescents and adults over the last 15 years. She has experience working with and assessing for multiple disorders including depression, anxiety, disabilities, addictions, trauma, grief, family issues, and severe and persistent mental illness.

My practice has a dual specialty neuropsychology and psychotherapy. I see children, adolescents, and adults. In Neuropsychology, I see individuals who have experienced a learning difficulty or frustration in an academic environment. I specifically look to identify patterns of learning and adapting novel information to help individuals achieve the most out of their academic career. On the psychotherapy side, I use both psychodynamic and interpersonal modalities incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy to identify negative patterns of coping. Utilizing gentle challenges to current patterns, positive coping can be effected.
