We service children, adolescents, & adults using a strengths-based approach. Our process is to partner with our patients, empower, encourage, build skill sets, develop coping skills, learn grounding techniques & resilience to overcome the past and present.

My areas of specialty are psychological evaluations and therapy with children, adolescents and their parents. I have over 25 years experience which include pre-doctoral experience working with children, adolescents and adults. My post-doctoral experience include providing individual therapy for adult psychiatric patients in long term care facilities and more recently with the developmentally disabled population. I have also done individual and group therapy with sexually traumatized and at risk adolescent girls. In addition to training, one of the qualities of a good psychologist is his/her personality.

I also conduct Critical Incident Stress Debriefings for First Responders (EMS, Fire, & Police).

I offer a variety of assessment and treatment services for children, teens, and adults. I have 10+ years experience working with children and families, helping them cope with a wide variety of issues. I specialize in attachment focused treatment and mood disorders. I work with parents to learn more adaptive ways to relate to their child and help children develop their ability to cope more effectively with stressful feelings and deepen their capacity to form close relationships. I also work with your child to develop skills to better cope with their worries, self-criticism or depressive feelings.

We are Humantold. Through our partnership with Carnegie Hill Psychiatry, we are a multidisciplinary practice offers psychological evaluations and testing for children, adolescents, and adults. Our team of clinical and school psychologists specialize in the assessment and diagnosis of a range of clinical concerns such as mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism, and personality disorders. In addition to diagnostic clarification, the evaluation process can identify areas of cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal strengths and weaknesses. These findings can all then be used to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and recommendation.

Whether it is your first time looking for support or if this is a part of a longer process, I would like to meet you where that is. Until the pandemic, my practice encompassed adult psychotherapy and pediatric neuropsychology. At present, I have suspended neuropsychological evaluations as I am only providing remote services and have chosen not to do testing this way. I provide individual and couples therapy using an approach that may draw from different schools of therapy, depending on individual needs. I have very broad experience with a variety of ages and personal struggles. Although I am unable to provide pediatric neuropsychology evaluations, I am available for parent consultation.

In practice I use a pragmatic, results-oriented approach and am not tethered to one particular psychoanalytic modality. Rather, recognizing each patient has unique needs, I draw from many therapeutic approaches that best fit each patient. In my practice, I can quickly assess which techniques will work best to meet each client's individual needs to show patients that they can have the right tools to reach their optimal comfort level in their careers, families, and relationships. The goal is bridging the gap and finding the most productive pathway between where clients are and where they want to be.

Sometimes, you just need someone to talk to, someone who is a good listener and, most importantly, non-judgmental. Talking to a stranger about very personal issues is hard.
