I am here to help your child, and you! Parenting in of itself has challenges, but when your child is struggling or exhibiting troubling behaviors, there is additional stress and worries that can be confusing and overwhelming. When a child exhibits problematic behaviors, they are signs that the child needs help. We will work together to minimize and diminish those behaviors, while also understanding what underlies those behaviors, and is creating inner conflict for your child. By gaining insight into your child’s perspective and their feelings, you will be able to relate to them in a way that will bring you closer together.

I have over 25 years experience doing therapy and evaluations for all ages. As a therapist, through compassion, listening, and active skill-building, I help individuals, couples and families increase understanding of issues and make changes needed to function better and feel better. While 25 years of experience guides my understanding of issues and my ability to help, in that time I have also developed a deep respect for the uniqueness of each person who comes to me, thus I approach each person with an eye to that uniqueness and how we can harness it to improve things.

My treatment approach focuses on providing services that are tailored to meet each client’s individual needs by integrating a range of therapeutic modalities. I work with EDMR, Grief/Loss, Bipolar, Complex Trauma, PTSD, DID, Attachment Issues, ODD/Conduct Disorder Issues, Depression, Juvenile Sex Offending and Victims, LGBTQ Community, EAP Referrals, Long and Short Term Therapy, Christian Counseling to those with this interest. I work with age groups from 10 years of age and up. Psycho-sexual Assessments ( sexual misbehavior) for ages 10-18 and Bio-Psycho assessments (behavior) upon request.

Serenity Grace Farm is dedicated to equine therapy, Therapeutic Horseback Riding, and other horse riding activities. This works towards enhancing and improving physical, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioral and educational skills. Trail rides, party opportunities, special events for focus groups such as service groups, churches, civic organizations, and special needs are also part of the repertoire of therapeutic experiences available.

Dr. Giordano is the grateful father of two adults. These and many other experiences help Dr. Giordano understand first hand the impact of living with and losing a terminally ill sibling, the effects of losing a child on parents, being diagnosed and treated for cancer, and the challenges related to marriage, divorce, remarriage, raising children, blended families, caring for aging parents, and LGBTQ issues including transgender transition.
