I specialize in forensic (legal) evaluations. I most often work with individuals involved in some aspect of the legal system. Though my specialty is the assessment of men and women accused or convicted of sexual offenses, I also have broad-based experience in competency and diminished capacity evaluations, assessment of mentally ill and dangerous persons, and violence risk assessment. I also do trial consultation for the military. Most of my referrals come from the courts and attorneys, though I encourage potential clients to contact me to discuss my services.

My work at Brainsight centers around helping people learn more effectively, whether they are children or adolescents in a school setting or adults in the workplace. I specialize in the identification and treatment of problems with attention, learning, and memory. The ability to pay attention and remember things is integral to learning and working. If you are easily distracted, have difficulty focusing your attention, suffer from a poor memory, or struggle to learn new things, you may benefit from an evaluation. I specialize in Psychological Testing with children, adolescents and adults to evaluate Cognitive, Adaptive, Behavior and Personality functioning. Requests for these evaluations are typically in response to concerns about daily functioning, inattentiveness, hyperactivity, academic difficulties, behavioral or emotional problems, developmental disabilities, diagnostic clarification for medication therapy and treatment planning or to document a need for support services at home, school or place of employment. These are often requested by therapists, physicians, school counselors, parents, psychiatrists, employers, judges, attorneys, case managers, other community providers as well as self referred. I am experienced in working with culturally diverse populations and language interpreters.

I have been working with kids, teens, and families for over ten years. Whether it has been in a children’s hospital, an intensive program, or a small community practice, I have continued to learn and grow alongside my patients. I conduct Pre-Bariatric Surgery Psychological Evaluations and psychotherapy pre and post surgery as needed. I also help people with Pre-Adoption Psychological Evaluations prior to international adoption. Additionally, within a team assessment methodology approach, I provide psychological testing and evaluation along with my pre-licensed doctoral candidate colleagues under my supervision.
