My primary specializations are the treatment of anxiety disorders, and performing evaluations and testing for a variety of issues. I enjoy working with families and individuals both and have extensive experience with group therapy. I also do coaching for professional as well as personal issues. I have locations in Lisle IL and Joliet, IL. My work with anxiety is through effective, non-medical interventions based on developing skills for dealing with emotional experiences. I utilize homework, reading and skill development to accelerate the client's progress and assist them in feeling better sooner.

I am the owner of 'Bright Minds' at LNC. We specialize in neurodiversity-affirming testing and therapy services. The information obtained from our evaluations can be one of the most valuable and informative tools because it helps deepen the understanding of yourself or your child & most importantly-it guides the direction of your treatment and supports. We believe that your evaluation should be more than just a 'label" but rather it should be comprehensive, informative and personalized. I specialize in therapy and testing services for following neurodivergence: Autistics, ADHD'ers, 2E/Giftedness, Neurodivergent Trauma, Bipolar ND.

I enjoy working with pre-teens, adolescents, adults, and couples who face diverse challenges. I seek to provide a collaborative and caring environment for processing difficult life events. I encourage individuals to develop healthy ways of caring for themselves as they develop acceptance and greater ownership of their life story.

Dr. Reyes earned an undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago and a Psy. D. at Illinois School of Professional Psychology. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, she has over a decade of experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological testing with children and adolescents, and psychological testing with forensic populations. Additionally, Dr. Reyes taught multiple undergraduate and graduate level psychology courses over the past 16 years.

Dr. Manfre is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Manfre is ADOS certified and served as an Early Intervention Provider for 8 years. Her areas of clinical interest include working with children and adolescents struggling with depression or anxiety, behavior management and parent-child attachment difficulties, and assessment and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Dr. Andrew Beatty has over a decade of experience assisting adults and adolescents with life, work, and health-related issues. He specializes in the field of health psychology with an emphasis on the management of chronic pain and illness. Dr. Beatty believes that “feeling sick” provides an ideal opportunity for individuals to recognize that there is something more going on. Therapy can help discover underlying behavioral health concerns that may be manifesting through physical symptoms or pain. However, Dr. Beatty encourages individuals to be proactive with their behavioral health before physical manifestations develop.

Dr. Ashley Petersen received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child/Family Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. She gained extensive experience while completing her training in various mental health settings, including with behaviorally and emotionally challenged children and foster children and their families. Dr. Petersen has a vast amount of experience in conducting psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, learning disabilities, & developmental disorders. She has experience attending IEP meetings & providing recommendations for schools.

As a therapist, I am focused on being genuine and mindful with client(s). My individualized approach, along with working together produces the best results. It helps you identify and explore sources of stress, set specific goals, and identify methods to achieve the desired outcome(s). Often times, simply shifting our choices, behaviors, expectations or perceptions can lead to significant improvements in how we feel. Positive outcomes are created with desire and guidance.

I am currently working as the Interim Director of the Wheaton College Counseling Center and am not taking clients.

Through my work with numerous individuals struggling with psychological issues, emotional pain and existential crises of various origins, individuals diagnosed with mental illness, first responders, veterans, LGBTQ individuals, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system, I have learned that we all have essentially the same goals -- the identification and creation of a life with which we are content, and the ability to effectively and comfortably experience the full range of our emotions without fear. My goal is to assist you in progressing toward your goals in a safe & validating environment that is welcoming to all.
