Dr. Kathie Ekemo specializes in psychological evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Ekemo offers Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) evaluations, learning disability assessments, and other types of focused psychological evaluations. I offer in-person testing at my office in Rocklin, CA (Placer County, Sacramento Valley) and virtual evaluations across the state of California. I am a neurodiversity-affirmative and collaborative assessor who believes individuals are the experts of their own experiences. My role is to work with you to expand your knowledge about yourself and to seek out answers to questions you may have about your mental health. I have over 15 years of experience working with children and have trained clinicians for the past 5 years. I use child focused tools, like play therapy, to learn about your child and help them identify new skills to manage behavioral, emotional and school-based issues. Dr. Ekemo recently relocated his practice to Auburn, CA from Bellevue Washington. He has been providing psychological services for over 20 years mainly to public safety agencies (pre-employment screening, fitness for duty, critical incident debriefings, job coaching and management consultations). He also specializes in individual Neuropsychological evaluations (brain injuries, dementia etc.) and Risk Management consultations to private sector organizations and HR departments. I specialize in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) which is an empirically supported, short-term live coaching program for parents of children with behavioral problems. I also train local preschools, daycares and other agencies who wish to learn techniques for understanding and handling behavioral problems in the classroom. With broad experience (private practice, inpatient psychiatric settings, psychological testing, substance abuse, and behavioral assessment), Dr. Meeker serves most populations. He specializes in working with challenging personality disorders (Borderline, Antisocial, Histrionic, etc.) as well as anxiety and mood disorders.

In my practice, I blend a warm, compassionate and respectful approach along with solid science and practical experience. Dr. Rowe is a doctor of psychology & she is a mental health enthusiast who focuses on providing the best evidence-based treatment practices for patients under her care. She specializes in forensic psychological & neuro/psychological evaluations. She is an expert witness & litigation consultant, and she performs evaluations and treatment for worker's compensation cases. My goal is to help individuals and families in crisis. I have 4 areas of passion. I love working with children, teenagers, and their parents. My second area of passion is working with narcissistic recovery and survivors of narcissistic relationships (both adults and children).
