Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I am a licensed psychological examiner (LPE-I) and a professional counselor (LPC). I am happy to share that I have recently founded Central Arkansas Testing & Therapy Center. You could consider me local to the central Arkansas area. I enjoy working with the community where I pretty much grew up. After graduating from UCA in 2009, I completed a master of arts degree in clinical psychology from Forest Institute in 2012. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with those experiencing depression, grief/loss, life adjustments, and LGBTQ specific issues.

In today's world of stress and global issues, I want you to know that I am walking this journey with you. I have over 20 years experience in mental health across both community and inpatient settings. I own a private practice in Maumelle, Arkansas (Comprehensive Health Psychology & Testing) and provide tele-mental health across most state lines with licensure in Florida, Missouri, and PSYPACT credential. My treatment focus is strength-based on health and behavior change. I take an inquisitive and insight oriented approach, which I believe can empower you to obtain your best physical, mental, and emotional health.

I have expertise in integration of religion in counseling, both positively and negatively. So I actively integrate clients' Christian faith for those who seek it - in both techniques and goals (cf. spiritual maturity = balance of openness and commitment to God, self and others), while recognizing unbalanced religion is often part of clients' abusive past. So I work with my clients' values and refer out the few who can't work with mine.

We are a group of clinical and forensic psychologists who specialize in psychological assessment. We offer forensic, education/academic achievement, intelligence, personality, psychodiagnostic, immigration, and other psychological assessment services. Examples of forensic evaluations include competence to stand trial (fitness to proceed), criminal responsibility (insanity at the time of the offense), culpable mental state, violence risk, fitness for duty, personal injury/damages, and assessment of other competencies. We are equipped to assess children and adults of all ages and can assess for medical purposes (e.g., surgery).

Parenting is a challenging endeavor in the most ideal of circumstances, but parenting children with learning problems, disruptive behaviors, social skills deficits, or emotional disturbance can tax even the most well-informed parent. There are many effective ways to parent children and my goal is to provide evaluation and treatment approaches that allow you to parent your child based on your own values while using the most healthy and effective strategies. For those children already in treatment, I can collaborate with the child's therapist and/or physician to provide evaluations that help to clarify diagnosis and treatment needs.
