Dr. Lucia is the Director/Owner and treating psychologist at this practice. Our clinical providers focus on improving your daily health, modifying thoughts/behaviors, and help you to overcome life's toughest challenges. We specialize in the treatment of First Responder and Military Related Stress Reactions, and Civilians who have experienced stressful life-cycle changes or isolated traumatic events (i.e., survivors of active shooter/terrorist attacks; suicide of family member), by serving as a "first response" to these often-unnamed heroes and survivors so they can return to fulfilling their mission and living a life worth living.

I work toward helping clients feel emotionally safe in therapy. It is very important that people feel validated, understood, accepted, and not judged for having their difficulties. I have been in private practice for over 35 years. I work with a wide variety of people, including individuals and couples. I have particular interests in helping people with depression (including Bipolar Disorder), anxiety (i.e.,panic, generalized & social anxiety, PTSD, OCD, etc), relationship difficulties, and addictions. I am a provider for numerous managed care companies, and have been on medical staffs of various hospitals for many years.

As a therapist, my strength is helping people clarify their goals and unearth behaviors that are counterproductive in achieving those goals. Together, we develop a personalized plan, that includes new methods and tools to resolve current and future challenges in an effective and healthy manner.
