Going to school, work, or social events can be terrifying for some. Feelings of anxiety become paralyzing even before we arrive. Whether it's trying to manage stress with school or work demands, navigate feelings around change or loss, or handle social situations like entering conversations or dealing with rejection or bullying, it can be exhausting. We get stuck in habits that can keep us from living productive lives and forming healthy relationships and we may isolate, turn inward, and experience mood shifts. My clients want a space where they can be heard, not-judged, and learn coping skills to build confidence and stability.
PEERS social skills groups in person for teens and young adults. I have over 15 years experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, many who are neurodivergent. I use a neurodiversity-affirming approach to meet clients where they're at. I teach skills to navigate social struggles, and help manage anxiety and attention/focus difficulties
It can be difficult to reach out for help. It can also be hard to find a good fit! I offer a non-judgemental, collaborative space where clients can learn coping skills for emotional and social difficulties, life stressors, and losses. PEERS for Adolescents (age 12-17)
Next round starts 3/2/23 in person. PEERS (Program for Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) for Adolescents is an evidenced-based social skills intervention for teens and their parents who want to learn how to make and keep friends. PEERS for Adolescents is for motivated teens ages 12-17, and their parents. This group meets weekly, for 12 weeks, in person.

PEERS for Young Adults (age 18-30)
Our next group starts 3/13/2023 in person. PEERS (Program for Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) is an evidenced-based social skills group for young adults (age 18-30) and their parent or social coach. Young Adults and their parent/social coach are taught skills on how to make and keep friends, as well as dating etiquette. This group meets weekly for 12 weeks and is in person.
