I'm a mom of three and an LCSW. I studied child & family development in college in Missouri, then earned a master of social work (MSW) in Denver. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My passion is to help parents and their infants/toddlers create strong, healthy relationships full of delight, focused on the wellbeing of babies AND parents. I use the long-established theory of attachment to help parents sort through all the noise and tap into their intuition, goals, and needs.
Difficult pregnancies, unexpected birth experiences, relationships with our childhood caregivers, postpartum mood disorders, and changing relationships with our spouse, family, and friends. All of these factors influence how we show up with our infants and toddlers.
My goal is to help you settle into a relationship with your child that meets the baby's AND your social and emotional needs. I use a strength-based, solution-focused approach, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), all in the context of early relational health and attachment theory.
