I have several years of experience treating adults with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem at university counseling centers, a behavioral health hospital, and in private practice. I specialize in helping clients navigate relationship issues so they can establish more fulfilling relationships with others.
My approach is warm, interactive, and insight oriented. I find it useful to explore various life experiences, relationships, and social identities to help us understand how they have contributed to the unique problems you might be experiencing. Then, I will help you move toward choices that will help you to feel more balanced and emotionally fulfilled.
Self-awareness is often a prerequisite for meaningful change, but implementing change can be hard. My hope is to support and empower you to improve your relationship with yourself and others, while also teaching you skills to decrease distress.
