Got a little one struggling with behavior issues? Perhaps you have a bigger one and you're not sure what the problems could be? I've worked with toddlers, young children, and teens experiencing challenges with depression, anxiety, problems with social media, and academic issues. I am consistent, honest, and work hard to ensure kids are gaining what's needed to enjoy both social and emotional success. I even work with teachers and daycare staff. If you need assistance with a challenging student, I can provide specialized school support to help determine next best steps.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, with experience in, but not limited to, crisis management, parenting, relationship challenges, emotional distress, life transitions, and stress. In addition to therapy services, I routinely conduct trainings for professional development and provide supervision for graduate level counselors.
Although my practice primary focus is early childhood, I work with teens and adults too. I empower individuals to overcome obstacles, using evidence based approaches. I realize one approach isn't right for everyone and hrough my work with over 100 individuals and families, I understand how to meet you where you are.
