After over 35 years of professional experience, I have found for many people, who may be coming for counseling for the first time, that it is important to recognize people come in often afraid of what the experience will be like. My hope is that I can ease people's anxiety, provide important information to them, important insights and help people move forward to meet their goals.
I have worked for years in both the mental health fields, substance abuse fields both in inpatient and outpatient modalities. I provide individual, family and couples counseling for teenagers, adults and seniors. When medication may be helpful, I will refer on to a psychiatrist who can prescribe medication.
I am located in more than one location in the Kansas City area and also have an office in Topeka Ks. I will try to work with you concerning an appointment time and day that will work with your schedule including working in the evening and on some weekends.
