About
When we don't feel safe, heard, accepted, or understood, our lives become more challenging. Our defense mechanisms, the behaviors we find hardest to change, become stronger, and our worries become louder. As a therapist, I believe in creating a nurturing, safe, trusting, and non-judgemental environment where you can feel seen, heard, and free to share openly. In our sessions, the walls that were once built up can come down to create a place of acceptance and healing. I want you to know that you are good enough, you can heal, and you have the ability to save yourself!
My specialties include working with adults who are experiencing chronic health issues, life transitions, relationship changes, career concerns, trauma, and self-discovery. I help these individuals find safety and acceptance in themselves, process their feelings, and take action in changing their lives for the better.
I use compassion-based approaches to help my clients learn effective ways to regulate their emotions, express themselves, and face challenges without withdrawing, shutting down, or losing self-confidence.
