Hi, I specialize in client centered therapy. This means we use whatever type of therapy that works best for you. This also means that I am familiar with a variety of types therapeutic techniques.
My clients have included people with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD as well as those going through life changes and transitions.
After attaining my masters degree at California State University , Northridge, I have worked in Los Angeles, Kansas and Missouri as a mental health therapist. I have been licensed as a therapist for over 30 years. I have learned a lot and I have met many wonderful people along the way.
I tend to lean toward cognitive behavioral therapy because I feel that it helps us connect our pasts with our current life choices and behaviors. However, I draw techniques from other types of therapy as needed.
I am a warm, friendly and easy to talk to person. I thoroughly enjoy helping people, and seeing them succeed and grow and heal.
I truly enjoy working with clients and I feel that I do a pretty good job of helping them deal with their issues and improve their lives.
