I am the Clinical Director and Founder at Center for Compassion. Have you experienced trauma, grief, or loss? Perhaps now you are feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and misunderstood? Or, you may be struggling with anxiety and stress, and have difficulty simply making it through each day. You do not have to walk this journey alone. At Center for Compassion, we help our clients survive their most painful moments and find meaning in their lives again. Here your pain will be heard and held. With time and kindness, the world may begin to unfold with glimpses of beauty.

Our providers come before our clients in humility, honored to walk with you through pain in your own time and in your own way. Sessions may include talking, writing, ritual, mindfulness, sharing photos/videos, creative expression, and meditation. Teletherapy sessions by video/phone are available on a secure network to anyone within the state of Arizona.

Though we have no agenda for those who are grieving or hurting, if you desire a safe place to feel, want to live as your full authentic self, and begin practicing true self-compassion, we invite you to call us. Experiencing the death of a loved one is never easy, but you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Our support group is designed for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one and seeking connection with others who truly understand. Together, we’ll create a safe space to share experiences, offer support, and find solace in community. This group is only for adults, ages 18+. The cost for this group is $40 a group for 6 groups. This group is schedule for Wednesday evenings: Check-in: 6:15pm Workshop begins: 6:30pm Workshop ends: 8:00pm

Compassionate Renewal: A Grief Retreat

Please join our founder, Terri Waibel, for a half day grief retreat that will focus on compassion, connection, and community. You will have the opportunity to remember your beloved dead amongst other grievers and engage with ritual in a safe environment. Your grief will be held with reverence with a focus on connection to self and others. This group is only for adults, ages 18+. The cost for this retreat is $300. Workshop schedule for Saturday, August 16th from 9:30am-1:30pm.
