About
I work with adults using a psychodynamic approach and view the counseling process as a partnership and an opportunity for you to learn more about yourself. We will honor the patterns that have kept you safe in the past, while at the same time gently removing the barriers that have kept you from being the person you wish to be. I utilize different therapies in my work, including Internal Family Systems, and EMDR.
I also enjoy working with children & adolescents. If your child or teen is struggling with situations that trigger strong emotions at school or at home, I can help. For those in the foster care and adoption community, I strive to build healthy attachments between parents and children, pre and post-adoption work. I am a certified adoption-competent therapist.
