I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in the states of Illinois and Indiana. I am based in Peoria, Illinois and will be working with clients from the state of Indiana via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss utilizing evidence-based practice, including CBT, ACT, EFT, EMDR, and Solution and Strength-Based interventions. I have completed EMDR Training with the EMDR Institute and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
My approach to therapy is client-centered, focused on creating a therapeutic alliance. Through motivational interviewing, we will develop goals and utilize various strategies and interventions to help clients find healing and balance in their lives.
My communication style is open, honest, and supportive. As the therapeutic alliance is created, it allows for depth and opportunities to be curious for self-discovery and healing growth.
