So much of what we experience in our early life impacts who we are as adults. Whatever barrier or struggle you may be experiencing; I am here to go through this therapeutic journey of self-understanding in order to build on the strengths you inherently have and to achieve a life of resiliency and fulfillment. A motto I live by is “Hold the vision and trust the process.” It can be a hard decision knowing that you need support and seeking it out. For that I am grateful that you have taken this step in getting the support you deserve.
My name is Teresa, and I have been practicing for over five years working with youth, teens, and adults. I have a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University. During this time, I have worked with patients dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, poor interpersonal skills, substance issues, and other mental health concerns.
I strive to offer a space free of judgement where clients can openly share their thoughts, feelings and experiences. I utilize a combination of theories to best support my clients and meet them where they’re at based on their specific needs. My approach incorporates therapeutic techniques from CBT, acceptance therapy, trauma-focused care, and others.
