Therapy is a healing journey. My approach is to support clients in facing life challenges, addressing trauma as needed, strengthening their ability to cope effectively, processing emotions, and internalizing personal empowerment. I am here to support your journey toward acceptance, growth, healing, and internal peace. I have a psychodynamic approach, meaning that I work with clients to explore how past experiences impact current issues in the present. I will help you explore potential unprocessed emotions, events, and experiences in order to improve your current quality of life. I also utilize CBT in my approach.
I work with clients in a collaborative effort to reduce intensity of mental health symptoms, improve relationships, increase sense of self-worth, connect to personal empowerment, and increase overall functioning. Therapy is one of the few spaces where one can have full focus placed upon themselves, and I am here to offer my full attention to you.
My communication style involves listening attentively as you process thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I will provide direct, authentic feedback in an effort to increase insight and positive change. I will provide support, empathy, and feedback in our collaborative work together.
