I specialize in the treatment of mental health disorders such as depression, bi-polar, PTSD, and anxiety, I also provide therapy for a variety of other issues including addiction, stress, grief, abuse, trauma, health issues and relationship problems. My therapeutic approach is holistic, solution focused and individualized. We will explore what's not working in your life and how this came about. We will identify your strengths and build healthy coping skills so that you can bring about the changes you want to see in your life. I offer sessions by teletherapy only. I do not provide in person therapy or evening sessions.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy as well as somatic, mindfulness and solution focused techniques in my practice. I embrace trauma informed and recovery philosophies in my work.
I am affiliated with Counseling Solutions of Alaska, a highly regarded counseling clinic that employs experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners for medication management. I look forward to helping you reach your goals.
