Teresa Billingsley began her counseling career as a Youth Care Worker following her graduation from the University of Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in the majors of Religious Studies and Sociology. While in college Teresa pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She received her Master of Education in Agency Counseling from Lynchburg College. Teresa has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since January 2005 and incorporated as Teresa Imani Billingsley LLC since April 2011. Teresa has held many civic and religious positions over the course of her life and presently works as an election official.
Teresa is a professional sports spectator, enjoying every sport from billiards to football. Teresa is also a dog-lover and cared for 3 pets over the course of 27 years and was the primary caregiver for her mother until her passing. Teresa's motto is "Anything is Possible" if you believe and are willing to do the work.
Teresa is trained in and uses a number of therapeutic modalities to include EMDR and PET. She is also a Collaborative Professional Divorce Coach and a Certified Co-parent Specialist.
