I started my career as a counselor at a nonprofit domestic violence agency where I discovered my passion for working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma.
I am EMDR Therapy Certified and utilize this technique when clinically appropriate. EMDR Therapy has been proven to be very helpful in areas such as trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem, anxiety, and when one "feels stuck". I enjoy working with couples and am Gottman method trained. This Method aims to increase intimacy, respect, and affection.
Time is of the essence, as you have probably struggled long enough to solve the issues in your life. I work to actively recognize those issues and repetitive patterns so that you can start to be aware of them and change them.
