Me: Compassionate, focused, experienced. With right-brained protocols and EMDR, results may occur quicker than talk therapy alone, and better yet, they "stick." Those who do well here often have a degree of stability (ie safety and "coping skills"), so mental health can be a priority. Consistency is key!
We humans are resilient and do well, when we can. With that in mind, I use an integrated approach including CBT/DBT therapy and right-brained protocols, such as Lifespan Integration, IFS, and EMDR. My approach is strengths-based, inclusive, and trauma informed. These methods can minimize re-traumatization and reap tremendous, long-lasting results.
I've done a lot of the work I'm asking my clients to do. I get it, reaching out to someone new, no matter how nice they sound, can be scary.
