Since establishing my private practice in 2015, I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from hundreds of clients with a desire to better understand themselves, their history, and to improve their quality of life.
I support my clients with developing and improving upon the necessary tools and skills to persevere despite the challenges they may face. Many of my clients have experienced the death or loss of a significant person in their life (such as a parent, sibling or partner).
I provide grief/loss focused therapy to young to mid career professionals in the DC metro area. I tailor sessions to the needs of each client. Because many of my clients are grieving much of the work is focused on how the client can learn to better integrate the loss and memory of the person who died into their present day life.
I am eager to work with you if what you are hoping for is an approachable, down to earth, and skilled and knowledgable therapist. While I am discerning when it comes to disclosure I see no need to operate with a "blank slate" approach. We are two human beings who will work collaboratively so that you achieve everything that you desire to achieve.
