I work with adults and couples who are stuck in negative patterns due to issues related to anxiety, grief, depression, chronic pain, trauma or childhood experiences. They are often feeling disconnected in their relationships, unable to attain personal or relational growth and searching for balance in their life. I will work alongside you in a safe nonjudgemental space using a Holistic approach to resolve personal issues and help bring your relationships to a better place.
My clinical approach includes emotionally focused, psychodynamic, Hypnosis, EMDR, somatic and mindfulness-based techniques. These are highly effective ways to replace negative thinking patterns and behaviors with new skills to use in your daily life. Together we can begin a journey of self-empowerment and healing to create the life you want.
I am a former NYC Firefighter and peer/crisis counselor with over 20 years' experience in counseling. These experiences have helped me understand the places where my clients are coming from, the emotions, difficulties and frustrations that many individuals and couples are trying to make sense of and overcome.
