I bring over 30 years of professional experience and training in addictions, couples work, LBGT issues and trauma recovery to our sessions. I offer humor, empathy, a highly engaged style and a deep respect for the courage, resources and depth of each person.
I am passionate about the potential of people in recovery from addictions. We work on underlying issues and deeper spiritual growth. It is my privilege and joy to work with couples in recovery, those in early recovery and those further along wishing to work to heal whatever is hindering intimacy.
For over twelve years, I was employed by Janus of Santa Cruz, a residential treatment program for addicts and alcoholics. As the Janus Family Therapist, I facilitated the Family Program and offered support, education, and counseling to families of the residents.
