My name is Teree (Tee-Ree OR Tea-Ree) and I am a counseling intern working under the supervision of a LPC. Life is hard and trying, but there is so much beauty in it. However, it can often be hard to see through the darkness to find the beauty. If you are ready to find the beauty within, I am here to help you work your way out of the darkness. If you need someone to help you process traumas and emotions, I am here to be of assistance. I am currently accepting new clients from all walks of life and all ages. We can work together to get you to where you want to be within your mental health journey.
I am an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, sexual abuse victims, and suicide awareness. I take a more person-centered approach while using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Strength Based Therapy. I work diligently to provide clients with a safe space where they feel seen and heard. I am here to help you achieve the best version of YOU.
All beings are capable of change and growth. I will leave you with my favorite quote from the movie Mulan, “The flower that blooms in adversity, is the most rare and beautiful of all”. You are the flower, and you can overcome all that is thrown your way.
