Tapping into the mind-body connection can help decrease chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia or other problems. Life can be stressful. Psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, biofeedback and neurofeedback can help you learn to cope better mentally and physically. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have been in private practice for 19 years. I specialize in chronic pain management, anxiety disorders, insomnia and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I use a mind-gut approach adding hypnosis to help with IBS. I can teach you how to reach a calmer, more comfortable and resilient state.

I worked in chronic pain research for 20 years. My published research is on Chronic Low Back Pain Treated with Hypnosis or Biofeedback. In my private practice, I have an evidence based approach using many tools (visualization, mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, hypnosis, biofeedback, or neurofeedback) to decrease pain and anxiety.

Sometimes people want more relief from pain (physical or emotional) anxiety or insomnia than they are getting with medication(s) or other treatments. I can help. Utilizing psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis and biofeedback/neurofeedback creates a complementary alternative approach to help you feel better by learning to take back control of your life.
