I am a social worker specializing in work with children and their families, guided by a child-centered approach that prioritizes safety, connection and each child's unique emotional needs. I believe meaningful change happens within supportive family systems and partner closely with caregivers to promote growth and understanding. Play therapy is a central part of my work, allowing children to express themselves, build emotional regulation and develop resilience in developmentally appropriate ways. My goal is to support children while strengthening families so they can grow and thrive together, learn to have fun again and thrive.
I have almost 11 years of experience working with families and children. I have play therapy and sand tray training.
I work with: children from age 3-15.
Specializes in: attachment, anxiety, disruptive behavior, depression and self-esteem.
Favorite type of therapy: experiential therapy- play, art, storytelling, sand tray etc.
As a parent myself I know how difficult it can be at times and how rewarding! I love working to help children and their families build on their strengths, connect in deeper ways and find their own unique path. I have always loved helping others. When I decided to become a therapist my mom said that she always knew that I would be in a helping profession.
