Hello, my name is Tenesha Thompson-Hoskins, I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in Rancho Mirage, CA, and working with clients statewide throughout California. I've worked with a wide and diverse group of people such as young adults, adults, and older populations as well. One of my specializations in working with those suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma history, etc., and teaching healthy coping skills.
I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with someone who is suffering from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem issues, and poor boundaries/codependency issues. Meanwhile, I have worked with substance abuse and recovery for over 15 years as well.
As a child growing up, I never knew anyone that went to therapy. As an adult, I realized that I wanted to help others get professional help along with learning to live life a different way. Teaching others to gain more helpful tools that may be more helpful in their daily lives today.
