The world is constantly evolving and can be hard to navigate with life transitions and stress, especially for gay men and people of color. My goal is to provide LGB services to those who struggle with barriers of PTSD, communication relationship issues, and life transitions. I utilize a unique systemic approach to working with individuals and couples. I enjoy guiding and exploring solutions at a client-centered pace using accountability for change.
My ability to be culturally sensitive allows others to express themselves openly without judgment. I have been trained extensively in couples issues and an evidence-based form of trauma therapy for LGB adults called A.R.T and Brainspotting. We can typically reduce emotional responses and triggers for acute stress and PTSD symptoms within 3 - 5 sessions.
I value transparency to build stronger foundations in communication, understanding, and healing. My style is directive and strength-based allowing individuals and couples to feel supported through growth in a comfortable private safe environment.

FOCUS Enrichment: Couples Workshops
FOCUS stands for Figuring Out Communication through Understanding and Support. Our mission is to enhance relationships by giving individuals the safe space and relational tools to communicate through a variety of workshops and events. FOCUS Enrichment is led by an expert team of relational coaches and facilitators who teach social and communication skills to foster healthier relationships and build higher self-esteem. Throughout the year workshops will incorporate skill-building with active exercises that encompass movement communication, boundary making, support and understanding.
