I am psychotherapist who specializes in working with toddlers, children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I work with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, divorce, school/work related stress, behavioral challenges, self esteem, grief, suicidal ideations, and social challenges. I also have experience with behavior management and collaborate with parents to provide support and guidance as I believe in the importance of family involvement to create lasting positive changes. I will also work collaboratively with allied services to best meet client needs.
In therapy there is no "one size fits all" model. I utilize a variety of evidence based treatment modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Behavior (DBT), Play Based Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Strengths Based Approach, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, and Person Centered.
I recognize the importance of building a therapeutic relationship, as I believe it is the foundation for effective therapy. My goal is to empower clients with the tools and insights they need to better understand themselves and ultimately thrive in their personal lives.
