I primarily work with adolescents/young adults going through a variety of problems (depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc). Over the years I have specialized in working with teens who are self-harming and having a difficult time adjusting to life's stressors. I do not work with just the adolescent/child. I feel it is a family issue that must be addressed by helping the entire family unit build supports and effective coping mechanisms together to move forward in a healthy manner. I specialize in working with Borderline Personality Disorder.
While I specialize in working with adolescents I also work heavily with adults who feel they are lacking something in their life (happiness, relationships, jobs, etc) and work to find a solution to fill the void.
