About
I strive to ensure you feel safe, accepted, and heard from the moment you walk in. There is no problem “too small” for care, and no problem “too large” for healing. I am passionate about helping you recover, regain control of your life, and thrive, even after experiencing major transitions, stressors, and/or trauma. I understand that you’ve faced many different challenges throughout your life. I know how, sometimes, your stressors may overpower your ability to cope effectively. I'm here to help: my goal is to help you identify the areas of concern, approach them, understand them, find your strength, & make positive changes.
I believe counseling is a collaborative process through which you will feel supported, validated, and guided. I'll help direct your effort and commitment in ways that’ll fuel your growth and overall sense of comfort. I believe you have strength and ability within yourself, and I’ll assist you in uncovering your potential.
I received my Bachelors, Masters, and Education Specialist degrees from Clemson University (Go Tigers!). I have training in EMDR, prolonged exposure therapy, and play therapy. I have worked with adults, adolescents, and children with depression, anxiety, trauma, impulse-control, relational concerns, substance use, grief, life transitions, and more.
