If you're struggling with your relationship with food, your body, or substances — or watching someone you love struggle — you're in the right place. I work with people navigating eating disorders, disordered eating/movement, body image, substance use struggles, and the complicated feelings that come with loving someone in the grip of any of these. I also work with relationship issues, and I'm especially committed to affirming care for LGBTQIA+ folks and people from marginalized communities. My approach is rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES), meaning recovery isn't about controlling your body, it's about reconnecting with it.
I believe your struggles don't exist in a vacuum. The culture you grew up in, the messages you absorbed, the dynamics passed down through your family- all of it matters, and all of it has a place in our work together. I've also worked extensively in higher levels of care with people facing eating disorders and substance use alongside co-occurring diagnoses.
In our work together, you're the expert on yourself. My job is to help you find your way back to your own clarity, strength, and knowing. I take that seriously, which means I'll meet you with honesty and care, not just reassurance or a listening ear. If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
