I work with the challenges your child faces in today's society and the stress this puts on your family. My passion is in helping kids and teens who struggle with anxiety, depression, mood swings, challenging behaviors, sexual abuse, self-harming and/or suicidal ideations, and trauma (PTSD). I also work with clients who have experienced significant life changes such as moving, divorce, and school difficulties to name a few. I use a variety of treatment modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DBT(Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to meet the needs of your child and family.
My role is to support your child and your family through difficult times. I work to help your daughter or son understand their emotions, effectively communicate what they are feeling, and utilize skills to manage these emotions. Please note, family therapy and parent coaching can be used as needed.
