Clients who crave an honest space to be their genuine selves with a therapist who will hold them accountable typically enjoy working with me! Therapy is a self-care activity, but that does not mean it will always be easy, nor does it mean that I will tell you exactly what you want to hear. Healing is scary and uncomfortable, so I prioritize developing a safe relationship with clients. My clients often come to me with the complaint that traditional talk therapy, while somewhat helpful, did not provide the benefits they were looking for. I aim to incorporate the mind AND the body, for a more holistic healing!
With me, clients have a safe, non-judgmental space to gain insight into what's going on inside their brain and body. We don't stop with insight, though. I guide clients in removing the distress and unhelpful learning from past pain so that they can move forward!
My clients often describe me as relatable and laid back. As someone who identifies as a millennial therapist, I am open-minded and approach problems as just that- problems! You are not your struggle, and I believe that at the end of the day- you know best! I am just here to guide you to it.
