I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the state of Texas and am under the supervision of Megan Krizan, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT-S at Nova Cesta Counseling. I graduated with a M.S. in Counseling from East Texas A&M University in 2025. I work with children as young as three, teenagers, and adults of all ages. My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices while tailoring sessions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
When working with adult clients, I believe it's essential that they feel truly heard, understood, and validated. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences without fear of judgment.
When counseling children, play therapy offers a way for them to express themselves and process emotions in their language. Through play, children can communicate thoughts and experiences that may be difficult to express verbally, allowing for deeper emotional exploration. I value collaboration with families and enjoy working as a team to support the child.
