We all deserve space to be our full selves. I view my role as therapist as a co-explorer: I walk alongside you as you navigate your authentic experience of this world. In session, we follow what feels present for you in the moment and approach what arises with curiosity. This mindful awareness helps you build relationship with more "parts" of you. I aim to allow all of you in. Eventually, this process of being "more you" can lead to a more grounded and authentically connected experience of life, one in which you find yourself with more choice, agency, and fulfillment.
I have over 15 years of professional experience with minors and primarily (though not exclusively) work with queer and trans teens. I also work largely with neurodivergent people, poly folks, sex workers, and fellow mixed race folks. I'm adept at helping people through experiences of depression, shame, fear, people-pleasing, and codependency.
My therapeutic lens is trauma-informed and incorporates the ways that family, community, and the world’s systems influence your experience of the world. Your safety is paramount and I seek consent throughout therapy. As with any relationship, it helps to see what it's like to talk with each other. I'm happy to offer free phone consultations.
