My experience encompasses working with people of all ages who are navigating life stress, mental illness, and/or healing from trauma. I have worked with victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and supported parents through a variety of stressful experiences. I am able to work with individuals navigating life transitions, including relationship and faith-based transitions, as well as transitions in parenting children of all ages. I am am LGBTQIA+ allied.
I utilize my training in EMDR, play therapy, expressive arts activities, and talk therapy to facilitate growth and healing for my clients. I incorporate IFS with clients who are open to it and combine approaches as it best fits my clients.
I use a multi-cultural, trauma-informed approach when working with clients. I believe that healing occurs throughout the entire nervous system and I incorporates brain-based and somatic awareness in my practice.
