I am passionate about working with adults from all backgrounds, including creative minds, curious spirits, highly sensitive folks, lifelong learners, & students. I am LGBTQ+-affirming and committed to anti-racist work. I work with clients wanting to address issues within their relationships, explore their past selves to better understand who they are and want to be, manage anxiety better in their day-to-day lives, & feel supported during major life transitions. Issues I find myself typically working with are related to attachment, anxiety, emotion regulation, interpersonal strategies, life transitions, stress, & self-esteem.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered & customized to each client’s needs and style. In order to treat a variety of psychological issues, I use an combination of evidence-based treatment models to make sure my clients get the most from their sessions. These models include ACT, CBT, DBT, IPT, attachment-based, somatic-based & mindfulness-based.
As your therapist, it's my responsibility to understand your lived experiences to best support you in our therapy sessions. I understand the importance of creating a welcoming & non-judgmental space in order for you to authentically hold/process your experiences & emotions & to work toward your goals.
