About
As a therapist, my goal is to help you grow and thrive within your environment. I create a safe and supportive atmosphere where you will have the opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, develop a realistic plan, learn healthy coping strategies, and increase your self-esteem. This exploration will leave you feeling empowered, hopeful, balanced and grounded, ready to meet life challenges and create lasting, meaningful change.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I draw from other therapeutic modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and have a trauma-informed approach. I also love to educate and utilize other techniques such as Mindfulness.
Since each person's journey and needs are different, I work with each individual collaboratively, and at their own pace, to identify and utilize their strengths and talents in order to help guide them from simply surviving in life to flourishing.
