Having trouble managing negative or anxious thoughts, understanding and regulating your emotions, coping with attachment wounds, past trauma, grief/loss, overcoming addiction(s), or maintaining healthy and satisfying relationships? I utilize a combination of evidence-based approaches to help clients reframe negative thought patterns, increase self-awareness and emotional regulation, and empower trauma survivors to re-author their life stories. I employ person-centered and strengths-based perspectives to help clients develop a sense of self-esteem and self-worth. Promoting client self-determination is at the heart of my work.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), C-DBT, and have over a decade of experience working in the field of human/social services. The experience I have gained working with individuals of all ages, in a variety of settings, including hospitals, shelters, outpatient clinics, and non-profits, has informed who I am today and my worldview as a therapist.
