Tayler’s clinical focus is with trauma, the LGBTQIA+ community, depression, all types of anxiety disorders, chronic mental illnesses, and personality disorders. Tayler has worked in human services in a diverse group of clinical settings. Settings such as; in-home therapy, residential for children and adults with eating disorders, day treatment for adults with severe mental illnesses, outpatient therapy for children through adulthood, school based therapy, and in a variety of in-home treatments focused on adolescents and families who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Tayler utilizes a humanistic focus on unconditional positive regard and positive psychology to empower a client’s strengths and sense of self as a basis of a therapeutical approach. This approach is enhanced by a wide variety of evidence-based treatments such as TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, MDFR, ARC, among others.
Therapy works best when the client feels safe and able to trust the therapist. Tayler works hard to ensure this space, time and acceptance of who the client is in order for them to work through challenging topics, situations and create a space to grow.
