My clinical lens is rooted in harm-reduction, person-in-environment, trauma-informed approaches, and family systems. I generally use an eclectic approach with modalities, but DBT is my favorite. I started my social work career in community-based mental health; in-home family therapy, crisis response, domestic violence, and supporting adolescents interfacing with the criminal justice system. I'm here for the clients who find themselves operating outside of societal norms and learning how to build their own path. I like to think of myself as equal parts affirming and challenging.
I'm a queer and gender-expansive affirming provider with lived experience as a queer and trans person. I specialize in the intersection of neurodivergence and queer identity.
I enjoy providing tailored, neuro-affirming care that celebrates the diversity of what optimal functioning looks like for brains affected by ADHD, autism, and trauma in particular.
I know what it's like to hide parts of yourself to protect others. I offer a judgement-free environment to figure yourself out in, away from what everyone else thinks. Please reach out for a free consultation and to see if we are a good fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you!
