My passion as a Mental Health Counselor has been and continues to have the ability to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds as well as their families. Assisting my clients learn how to manage their stressors, gaining insight into their thoughts and behaviors and enhancing their emotions and bonds with their supportive networks. The majority of my experience has been focused on working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, parent/child conflicts, anger, adjustment and women related issues. I use different approaches in therapy but have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My dedication is to provide clients with a supportive and welcoming environment while also assisting them to better understand their behaviors, perceptions, and thoughts related to Anxiety, Stress, Depression and more.
I will also start training in CBIT in March to work with clients that have Tics.
As an individual who has played many roles in life, I stand with many when we say that life has its challenges. My goal is to create an inviting and welcoming environment for you while I help guide you on this new journey called Therapy.
