Hello! I am happy you've found me. I am a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been working as a therapist for 7 years. I have experience working with LGBTQIA+ people, challenging family dynamics, anxiety, depression, those who have survived interpersonal violence, racially and ethnically marginalized communities, as well as economically marginalized people. I use an eclectic approach rooted in Mindfulness, CBT, Narrative Therapy and other somatically based modalities.
I am currently open to working with LGBTQIA+ adults and adults working to manage anxiety and depression, as well as processing family dynamics and relationship challenges. I strive to communicate openly, provide warm support, explore challenging topics with mutual respect and help connect to resources in the community.
I start with an introductory telephone consultation to make sure my approach is a good fit for you and your goals. In your first session we will discuss your goals, expectations from therapy, and my therapeutic approach. From there my hope is that we co-create a welcoming and safe environment to explore who you are, challenges along the way and the direction
